It will give a message like this at the bottom of the ad: No contact info? if the poster didn't include a phone number, email, or other contact info, craigslist can notify them via email. There is a radio buttom beside the message for "Send Note" and they can send you a message. The hide email address option seems pointless to me. Aaron
Give it a try once -
If there is a contact, in the craigslist listing (email). . . . craigslist will make no attempt to contact you.
When craigslist does contact you (for no contact info) it's a generic email, from craigslist, alerting you no contact info is there and you should edit your listing with such.
You can't directly contact me . . . . .
I like the way they have it set up.
If I really want to sell something - I put my phone number down and make sure I'm not out of town, to take calls and sell it.
