| Like others have said, a little maintenance goes a long ways. I have had a few times where I have struggled to remove the ball but it was always because I had not greased it in a long long time.
Last time I was really concerned it wouldn't come out because it had probably been 6 months since I had greased it and it had been turned over several times since that time and driven in mud and on the highway during the winter (salt) etc. Came right out and still had grease on it. I like it way better than the two we have that lay down sideways. They are not as clean of an installation and are as in my opinion worse about getting in a bind. | |
