Subject: Re: When to change oil in tractors

Floyd County, Iowa
He's in Minnesota. Lots of condensation in the engine block during winter. I also have a couple of older JD 2 bangers. When I drain the oil in spring, I'll get at least half a quart of condensation water out of each of them as soon as I pull the drain plugs. They're inside an enclosed unheated building with concrete floor all winter. I wouldn't want to run them with that much moisture inside them from one season, let alone my diesels.
my 2 cents
