Subject: Re: When to change oil in tractors

Eastern, IN
I have a tractor that I only put about 10 hrs on per yr. I am not afraid to run it 3 yrs before changing it. I still make the hrs and date on the filter. 1 difference, this tractor is kept in a heated / dry barn. If it was kept in a damp / wet tool shed I would change it annually.

On a regular basis our goal is to change our oils every year or 125 hrs. It does seem that our motors won't use any oil until it starts getting close to that hr mark (125 hrs). To me that is the motors way of telling me that it is time for a change.
