I did a little reading on that circuit.... and it's to take return oil (starting at the steering motor, then any from steering valve, then any from steering metering pump... then back to sump)
It's supposed to be low pressure... Thats why it's a pretty small barb on the line nipple. and I am thinking something is leaking internally pretty bad. I hope it's just the steering metering pump! I'll do a little more research on diagnosing before I start turning wrenches..
was your proportional valve on the steering valve causing your problems? and what did you do to fix?
