S.C. Minn | The R70 was built during the german invasion when they took a good company (Allis Chalmers) and nearly broke it, they set a good company back about 15 years in technology and design. I believe the R70 has a dual spreader on it, the dual spreader does alot better job of spreading than a single spreaders that are on Gleaner combines today. If you could find a series 2 Gleaner with a cummins engine I think you would be happier. The 20 foot soybean head seems to be pretty small for that size of a combine. The hugger head is indestructible and an excellent corn head. |
