NW Washington | In some building codes are real fussy about dryer vents in new construction.. A very long run or too many elbow will get your job shut down. I am sure that a lot of existing ones are not up to spec., especially those using plastic tubing with the wire reinforcements. An inline booster fan can be installed in the vent line in some cases. The booster fan is controlled by a pressure switch in the vent. | |
