I've got one on a Husqvarna. I'm not a big Kohler fan, but it's been a pretty good engine.  My only real problem was an oil leak that was difficult to pin down when under warranty.  Turns out it was the oil pan gasket.

For $3100 you better get a lot more horsepower and a million mile warranty
