I heard this idea somewhere (likely NAT) that I hope to use someday. Place wheels at one end of the table and then just solid legs at the other. Use a floor jack to move the table if need be by lifting the end with the solid legs. You can then put a big vice at the solid end and it shouldn't move at all then.
