Panhandler, Outback is developing a new S3 that is double top secret right now. It will probably have a mapping & guidance all in one. With the mapping memory, you should get some degree of repeatability, although only as accurate as WAAS. With the Baseline attached, that repeatability should improve.
I was led to believe the cell phone signal would be a satellite phone signal, & not a regular signal from a cell tower. At any rate, that would make the portability issue of RTK non-existant wouldn't it? Also the cell-phone signal wouldn't be from your existing cell phone. It would be a new subscripion that doesn't use a "phone", just a receiver that aquires the signal for the RTK.
