You have one base station and that is all to cover anywhere you have a cell signal? That pretty much sums it up. To get true repeatability you need to be within 20 miles of the base. The error starts to go up after that. We are running at 29 miles with decent repeatability. Repeatability is a relative term. It does not mean the same to all people. In my opinion to have repeatability you have to have RTK. Some here disagree with me. It all comes down to what is "close enough". I try not to bash any brand of equipment, so I won't comment on the Outback and I have no experience with the Outback. But I will say to be very careful with stated claims of accuracy with any brand. |
