i have never worked on a westeel bin particularly so i don't quite get how the clips are being broke. On GSI Brock and Sukup bins we tighten the support rings till we can see a slight crown in the roof. Be careful, if the roof is dry and free of snow and ice it should not be that slick and you should get along fine.
