Posted 2/4/2012 11:11 (#2205102) Subject: Grain bin roof stiffener rings. How tight?

Going to start replacing the clips that hold the rings to the roof on a westeel bin. The rings have been rotating in the clips untill about a 1/3 of the clips broke off from the side to side movement. I'm assuming the rings were too loose.
If I can get them replaced without falling off the roof how tight should the rings be?
