 I disagree on the newer model's bushings lasting longer. They have to support a longer chaffer and rails. They should still be replaced at short service intervals to avoid catastrophic component failure.

 When parking the machine, even over night, I recomend moving the shaker to the neutral or relaxed position. Definately when the machine will sit for long durations, move the shaker to neutral position. IMO.
