| I don't get that buying acres talk. Commercials and endusers need bushels, not acres. All they need to do is offer a contract for x number of bushel at a specific dates and of it is attractive enough farmers respond. I really don't think much of gearing up production based on the prospects of potential demand. If we produce beyond expectations and the demand does not develop as advertized, then we look like ignorant fools. And believe me, there are those that will oversell potential demand to encourage over production.
