Sac & Story county IA | It may well be an inverter. Or variable frequency drive. They are new in the last 25 years. It will do fine. New ones are better than the ones of several years ago.
Far superior to a static converter.
What is wrong with the phase converter? 30 years on a motor is not the end of the first half, yet. Those are run capacitors in the box on the side. Maybe some start capacitors, too. Those do die of old age but not a big deal to put new ones of those on. Just discharge them before you take them out. | |
