Subject: Re: Freightliner 112 front end vibration

North Carolina
Got a 1999 FLD120 that shakes really badly from 45 to 60mph, whether loaded or unloaded. Had an issue with the passenger side steer tire wearing prematurely, so it probably needs an alignment job. But I wonder this: one steer wheel has 5 hand holes, and the other has 2 (steel wheels). Is it possible that the weight difference/air resistance between the two wheel types could throw it out of balance enough to literally shake the whole truck?
