KY | Took a load of corn to elevator, on way back empty, 60 mph plus there is a significant shake in the front end. Loaded, went back, no noticeable shake when trailer is loaded, empty it came back just the same. Only thing different is I cross a pretty rough rail crossing at the elevator and didn't realize how rough it was. Didn't seem hard enough to throw anything out of whack. Checked the front end, nothing broken or obvious, truck tracks
arrow straight, no pulling to either side. Doesn't appear to be a tire or driveshaft issue, as the vibration lasts 2 seconds (approx) and goes away 2 secs. Repeats constantly. Too much dead time between it doing it to be tire or shaft I think. | |
