s nd | Most catholics (squish, me, others) believe that life starts at conception. Others believe it starts at birth. Who is going to say that fully formed baby before birth is not life. That's one thing I give the church on their beliefs. They can't have grey area or we will bend the rules to fit our situation. Say the churdh decides to list half way through a pregnacy is life, not conception. Half of 270 is 135 days. So me and my girlfriend come into the clinic and day 136 and miss it by a day. Dont' you think we will ask if they can just pre-date the exam so we fall into the guidlines of no life? What about three days? A week? Us guys will do just about anything to get things to go our way, or so it seems once in awhile around here. I'm not above it, or below it. It's why they won't let women take contraceptives, or guys and girls can't run a load of laundry out by hand, cause it stops a birth. I didn't make the rules, but I also didn't try to change them so it fits my lifestyle. Some can add more, I'd better get to work. | |
