| I had a microdiscectomy in the fall of 2008. I had a buldged disc at L4-5 for many years, (30 yrs). I had the cortisone shots, Therapy, and several chiroprators over the years. Sitting was the worst.
I,like you, was hestitant to have the surgery but I am glad I did.
I had mine done by a the Neurospine Center in Appleton WI. I went into surgury at 7 am and was heading for home by noon. It was painfull for several days but I was walking the next day and walking 1/4 mile within a week. I was doing most things within 3 weeks.
I have to be a little careful, but my quality of life is much better now. | |
