Central / West Texas | We went to Ruidosa NM on our honeymoon. The day after we get there drive up to ski apache in then new06 dodge diesel 4x4. Around noon its snowing so hard they turn of the lifts/gondola. So we change clothes and go out to the parking lot. Comence putting on tire chains to drive the 12 miles down the hill. Anyone who has been to Ruidosa knows how much fun that can be. The area we parked in was kinda uphill to back out. While putting the chains on and deciding whehther I really need to put all 4 on I hear the car next to us spinning out. Tell wife to go see what there problem is and make sure they dont slide over into us so we cant get out. A few minutes later she comes walking over to the other side of the pickup with a 60 year old couple and all there stuff. She told them they could ride down the hill with us and get there car later. So we finish chains and take of. You guessed it they are from our hometown, population 7000, 600 miles away! | |
