| I am always amazed when I get out in the world and how small it can be. By this I mean being a long way from home and meeting a person with ties to home, or seeing someone you know if a distant local.
In 1998 I was on a dive boat out of Ley largo Florida and talking to the divemaster. He found out I was from Indiana and told me that he was from Indiana and had did his dive training there. When I told him where I worked, he asked if I knew a certain family from the city where the dealership is and I did know several members of this clan. I named one member who I had worked with and sure enough, it was this guys cousin.
Amazing to be 1500 miles from home and meet someone who was kin to a friend of mine.
Anyone else have a tale to tell?
