Finished planting beans today. Son in Law says his dad is still on corn with no beans planted. Talked to a neighbor just up the road and he hasn't planted the first bean and almost got 2 tractors stuck today.

This isn't terribly late for us.  It's  3-4 weeks behind last year for most folks, just a little behind "normal". Depending on their personal philosophy corn planting season runs from March 20 to June 10.  Most like to have corn in by May 10 and beans in by May 20.
