| Mike, we finished beans (1st time) Monday & replanted some corn yesterday, spotted in about 15-20 ac over 300 ac. Lot's of corn being replanted, especially just to the east of us. Crop ins. ajent said he has had over 2,000 ac of claims for corn replant alone. I know of one guy who has 750 ac of corn to replant & 250-300 ac of beans to replant.
I said "1st time" on corn as we lost 80 ac of beans in the Wabash River bottoms to flooding. Still some water in the bayous so will be awhile before we can replant them. | |
