western iowa | Sold scrap iron last summer for $220 per ton. Old fence wire was $150. I sold some Stainless Steel for 65 cents per pound = $1300 per ton. There must be something about being magnetic, because they checked all the SS stuff with a magnet to make sure it wasn't. It was an old sprayer tank and old SS hog feeders. Aluminum was 20 cents per pound and copper was $3.20 per pound, no wonder crooks steal it. | |
