Alcoa site says 36 lbs per rim savings using aluminum 22.5" rims. If you change your own tires you'll notice the weight difference, too. I have no big trouble throwing an aluminum rim/tire on a pickup or putting back on the truck but the steel rims start to get heavy. Must be getting old, but I prefer aluminum.
