Though if this warm spell hangs on it could get interesting...
The one year the ice was so thin that the smart ones pushed an aluminum boat out on the ice and sat in that, just in case...

Ya know, if a judge ordered some miscreant to have to sit on a 5 gallon pail in the middle of a frozen river in a 30mph wind at 17 degrees (F) for 8 hours, that would be declared cruel and unusual punishment by the Supremes (the ones that can't carry a tune)
Here in Saginaw we have people actually pay us to be punished that way... How good is that?
