Subject: RE: windrower: pivot tongue or SP?

I currently have one of each, and really prefer the SP. Not so much for visibility, but for the fact that I don't have to straddle the windrow and so have the ability to lay the swath as wide I like depending on the conditions. I can never seem to rake as clean behind the pivot tounge where the tractor has mashed the hay down. Also, that driven-on stuff dries a lot slower. Hope to someday send the pull type down the road for another SP. Just my thoughts.
