S.C. Wisconsin | It is a problem for farmers as those people who approve them only know numbers. We are over half done with our 15 year mortgage and thought last year I would try to refinance to take advantage of the super low interest rates. My credit rating was great but wanted a 10 year mortgage and was turned down because I didn't have enough income, we have never been late on our payment since we started. They would give me a 30 year mortgage but the interest rate was higher and wouldn't gain that much. Common sense doesn't prevail. Seems like they loaned money to anyone with a heart beat before before but now they get real picky over things that don't make a bit of sense. Best is to get a really good downpayment so it makes the loan look better. | |
