The oil extracted from camelina can be burned directly in a diesel engine. That is the magic. No other processing required like other crop oils. The military wants and will get fuel created here and not imported from the middle east. Ground wars are still fought with fuel and soldiers. Camelina along with the fermentation process is included in their search. It will grow and produce on crappy land too.
