Spreadsheet is tool of choice here, never been too enthused about spending $$ for dedicated programs and then more $$ for updates. First computer spreadsheet was on a Commodore 128, it was called RunCalc, published in RUN magazine in machine code... wife and I spent a few hours typing that in . It worked fairly well for what we needed to do. When the 128 was obsolete I was able to tinker with the spreadsheets I had and use the old Commodore disk drive to save in IBM format, which the followup DOS machine could actually read and import. Use Excel a lot now.

Latest spreadsheet is a Java version called MiniCalc and works on the Rugby phone, cool little thing adds another use for the phone.
