I have spread the fines before, whether it is urea or potash. It worked fine behind the air machine. If the analysis is current, I wouldn't be afraid of it. If you are, I would be curious as to where it is since I am in CA, I could be interested in it. If it is urea, and it being fine, you want to make sure it is incorporated very quickly, either by rain, pivot, or cultivation. The last time I spread fines last year, the savings was decent and I charged $1 an acre more to spread it. It still saved the grower a fair amount of money per acre.
