Not blaming anyone, anything, or any product just a round table thought. What have we been doing the last three to five years to corn that we haven't in he past. Could the arial applications with crop oil additions be burning the leaf and providing an entry point. Could it be that it was very hot when spraying this year that we gave even more chance for the bacteria to enter the plant. Could we be killing beneficial fungus that feeds on bacteria and that combined with the above factors for 2011 gave us a larger breakout. Could we be killing beneficial fungus that feeds on the bacteria even after the crop has been harvested to further break it down and in turn build up more bacteria from 2010 that provides more innoculum in 2011. Just questions I ask myself when pondering what we have been doing different in the last three years.
