Near Richmond, IN
Pro Scout has told you the biggest and main reason to use a seed treatment on soybeans. If you plant later in the season I doubt if you'll see a big payback, although with soybeans in the $10-12 range, the payback is a lot easier to achieve. My seed treatment salesman told me this morning that about 35% of the soybeans sold are now treated with some type of treatment, which is a huge increase over a few years ago, but it's still not a large part of the whole crop.
