south central, KY | On non-gmo we have used Steadfast Q with success over the top. White corn requires some more management, in that we usually put a fungicide and insecticide on after tassel. + 1 on the 32B11, but this year it isn't available, having to go with B09 and B16 which should be fine. 1431W is also a good choice in stress environments. In the past our white corn usually is really close in yield to the yellow, if you have a average or better yield. If it is really dry, I think some of the yellows will be better. As far as drying just drop the temperature and run it through slower to keep cracking down. | |
