Subject: RE: no-till behind cattle manure

Wayne County, IN
I no-till into manure every year. I chop silage out of the same field every year and put 10-15 ton per acre on it when its froze then go in a plant. I have had good very good luck doing this, it is usually my best looking corn and will usually make 20-25 tons of silage. I spread with a knight side slinger which does an awesome job of spreading a uniform layer and then plant with a ground drive kinze with martin floating row cleaners
