We use to run a CIH 6500 disc chisel on corn stalks in the fall that hadn't been disced. Ran 4" twisted shovels. They did a halfway decent job of burying residue. Once I respaced the shanks to the way Brillion set theirs up I didn't have much trouble plugging with trash. l aso ran a tine tooth leveler on the back of the chisel & a single bar harrow attached to the harrow
