We have considered a coulter setup for preplant since we switched to no-till wheat, but not enough proof to it being a benefit in this area for me. I would talk to someone locally or find some extension tests to see if it helps in your area or not first. Last year we put a whole shot of nitrogen down preplant on half and at greenup on half with 3 stream tjet nozzles and saw no yield difference between the two there. | |
