You bring up a good point about being payed for $ of investment left in the dirt by the tenant. How would a person go about valuing these assets that are left behind?
That is why I strongly believe if you have a farm that you have rented for a period of time, you buy it if given the opportunity, because the investment that is left behind is more than most think. On top of the lost profit ooportunity of not farming it anymore.
That is why have said more than once, "Trim The Fat Buy The Dirt. "
