Subject: Re: Fewer USDA reports

Doesn't Informa, FCStone and others sell reports. Maybe neighbors would get together to buy these reports for marketing purposes. But you know if USDA quit doing corn and bean reports, it would be a motherload for these companies. This would increase their bottom line quickly because farmers and other companies would have to purchase reports of commodities that these companies already spend money to generate. I guess you could say GO PRIVATE ENTERPRISE. This would be a great reason to join a coop to get these reports.

Maybe this would be a boom for a few farmers and coops. They could be resellers of this information to other smaller farmers. It is kinda like snowmobile sellers in parts of ND and MN. It is funny when you are driving in parts of MN, ND (only because that is where I have lived) what businesses you come across. This would be a boom for some of these computer literate farmers to generate income for their farm. I could go on and on and on.
