that sounds a little low. feeder hay in so. idaho is 240 a ton delivered in, i would think $35 is closer to where it should be or even $40. my FIL always said good cornstalks had a 100 cow/acre day holding capacity. now as soon as they get rained on it goes down, but cross fence with poly-wire and you get more. do you have water there for them in canals or household wells or do they have to haul it? that is the killer.
