Might not be too bad. One year we broadcast rye, it was just coming up, and I ran the Zonebuilder through it. It killed the rye right in the zones. Next spring I no-tilled into those strips. That actually worked out pretty good, but, I would hate to depend on it. If you can keep you method consistent enough, it might not be a bad idea.
