Hi Don,

There are plenty of general WW GDD charts available, one is attached (no source listed). This one suggests 1350 GDD (base 32F in this example, some use 41.9F/5.5C remember) are required from germination to jointing (Z31).

When you ask about frost damage, are you talking leaf injury (or potential plant death over the winter as a result of sub zero temps), or spring freeze damage potential in the spring (after jointing)? These are all considered "frost damage" depending on who asks.
