SW KS, near Dodge City
Maybe in some places & in extreme cases... but Brad's right. It's drought and mosaic that have nailed this crop, at least in SW KS. Rainfall has been & always will be out limiting factor on wheat. In the last year we've had just under 18" of moisture, with the bulk of that coming last June and October.

Are we short some micros? Probably, but I know when we used to spread manure, which usually has the micros, our yields were below what we now have using no-till.

Besides, if he's so good, why hasn't he move out here, bought up a county and shown us all how it's done? I think that he may have been grandstanding just a bit much...
