The American Chigger just bites you and leaves, So if your trying to dig them out, your just causing more problems, And if you think you found one, its probably your dryed up blood from where they bit you. I had a friend turn in a chigger for part of his antomology collection in college, He got a note back that said "F- please don't turn in any more samples of your dryed up blood" |
