It must have been late 60s early 70s we visited relatives near KS- CO border along I-70. There was a big push for sugar beets at that time. I think GW was putting up a big processing plant. Do they still grow sugar beets in that area? Relatives have either died or moved away so don't have any contact with area anymore.
