Have to agree, sounds like you both have a handle on the situation.
It is discouraging to end the season with lower than expected yields when every fiber of our being is geared to producing the most as efficiently as possible. But careful planning and precautions may end in the same "net" result. After all, that is what makes the difference. Have a safe harvest!
