Farming in NW Iowa
Who's making an allegation of misuse? Maybe overuse. Just stating the rates the local coop is advising. Up until 3 years ago it was 22 oz of Roundup UltraMax. And I don't have to read the label for Roundup. I haven't ever used Roundup or a generic glyphosate in a row crop. Haven't had a bag of BT corn since 1998. I'm 100% conventional crops on 360 acres. Maybe I'm not a big shot farmer like some others, but it works for me. Some people think weeds can't be killed without Roundup. Why are the chemicals I use alone advised as a tank mix partner for Roundup? (at the same rate.) Monsanto did a good job with marketing, that's for sure.
