From reading posts about crop insurance and how some work the system, much of it seems borderline to fraud. Dad never fooled with ASCS crop programs nor crop insurance. He said too many cheats and liars go into that office . I've never had crop insurance nor fooled with ASCS crop programs. Grow corn for silage plus grassland for hay. Never had hail damage but had several drought shortened crops plus a couple of hurricane winds blew down some silage corn or sorghum but the chopper got it up. We take what we make and go on. For those of you in hail country I understand your need for insurance. | |
