It seems like the late '90s and early 2000s were the heyday of the insurance farmers around here. For some reason i haven't seen nearly as many guys blatantly doing it in recent years-although this year every acre of dryland milo that was planted was for insurance-there was no other choice.
Purpose for crop insurance.
